To lead the BeyondTrust sales activities across the US Government Civilian Agencies and Department of Defense (DoD). Expected to meet or exceed sales revenue, sales profitability, new customer acquisition, and customer satisfaction goals for the federal market. Responsibilities include focusing on building direct touch with customer and indirect with key value added partners and integrators.
? Achieve or exceed a quarterly and annual sales quota.
? Responsible for sales forecasting, lead generation, heavy prospecting and account management through the close cycle.
? Develop a sales plan and strategies for building/maintaining a large pipeline and moving opportunities through the sales cycle.
? Strategically manage sales cycle for all BeyondTrust solutions in the federal market.
? Develop and maintain superior relationships with contacts and decision-makers.
? Consistently maintain monthly sales quota and revenue goals.
? Monitor customer, market, and competitor activities and provide feedback to sales and marketing leadership.
? Follow the established sales process of the company and effectively utilize the available sales resources provided by the company.

? Minimum of 7-10 years of field sales experience selling security software solutions to the US Government.
? Established relationships with large federal integrators.
? Proven experience hunting and closing business with federal customers.
? Thorough understanding of the federal government?s procurement process and budget cycles.
? Working knowledge of the contract vehicles the US Government leverages for procurement of product and services.
? Must have knowledge of the identity and access management and security software markets, industry trends, competitors, customer needs, and go to market strategies.
? Must be able to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced competitive sales environments
? BA/BS degree or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.
? Familiarity with Salesforce (or similar CRM system)
? Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills
? Strong selling, negotiating and relationship-building skills.
? Strong communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills
? Strong ability to identify, reach and develop new prospects and customer accounts
? Self-starter; results-oriented with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively without close supervision
? Proven ability to effectively interface and work cooperatively with individuals of all levels
? Proven track record of managing multiple accounts
? Some travel required
