THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED This position is responsible for understanding all business processes related to the Data Staging department and supporting the business community. The Feed Analyst?s primary responsibility is to develop functional requirements to a team of developers in order to produce and maintain a large inventory of telecommunications electronic data housed within the company?s proprietary databases. The Feed Analyst?s primary responsibilities also include ad-hoc and automated report development as well as process efficiency development in support of client requests and other functional areas within the company.
Works with Data Analyst?s and Developers in support of electronic data adapters
Interfaces with Project Management in support of new client implementations
Communicates with Inventory and Billing regarding mobility inventory data integrity
Liaises with Senior Management, Quality Control, Business Enterprise Systems and IT in support of on-demand reporting and system documentation
Understands the business and financial processes within and relating to the Business Intelligence department
Responsible for setting and meeting sensitive deadlines under business quality control standards
Manage all facets of assigned projects including: Initiation, Planning, Execution, Termination
Establish Work Breakdown Structure for Projects and assign estimated time values for each step
Development of on-demand statistical reports in MS Access and MS SQL for clients, internal customers and project requirements
Translation of business needs into functional requirements to be delivered and utilized by a development team
Responsible for data integrity and quality control of output meeting TnT standards
Develops and maintains systems documentation, inclusive of but not limited to: flow charts, data flow diagrams, design specifications, training manuals, and user documentation.
Understands interrelationships between functional groups
Assists Senior Business Analyst in support of data analysis projects, electronic data adapters, new client implementations and wireless analysis.
Follows standard business practices relating to data integrity and quality control procedures and identifies inefficiencies and areas lacking proper quality controls
Experienced and knowledgeable in SQL or equivalent database applications a plus
Proactively identifies process improvement/efficiency needs, makes business decisions, and presents proactive solutions to problems
Other duties as assigned
Ability to interact with multiple departments, provide commitment dates, and status updates
Bachelor?s Degree in Business Management, Information Systems, or Telecommunications with at least one year business analysis experience in a corporate environment
Knowledgeable in Excel, Word, Outlook and Access. SQL a plus
ETL experience a plus
Ability to develop a process to accurately extract, transform, and load a dataset and effectively communicate the functional requirements to a team of developers
Possess analytical skills to present solutions to problems, while demonstrating a level of independence
Adapt to an ever changing environment while being able to remain focused and not lose sight of strategic goals
Possess a level of creativity offering suggestions to help build the business and make processes more efficient
Understanding of how to work with data in various capacities.
