Our multi-core processors have a unique iMesh architecture, a coherent mesh enabling us to put a virtually 'limitless' numbers of cores in a single chip, create scalable performance with the world's most efficient power consumption all in a highly programmable solution based on industry standards such as C / C++ and a Linux operating system.
As a FAE at Tilera, your role would be to ensure customer success and expansion of business opportunities for our multi-core processors and system level products. You will team up with local Sales managers to identify the critical ?must win? account deals and provide the technical deliverables - directly or with the aid at the factory in order to close the deals. This may include creating application software geared towards a specialized customer system need, performance benchmarking, doing demonstrations and giving technical presentations.
You will develop strong, professional relationships with the key OEM engineers, architects, and decision-makers and with your growing understanding of the market trends, become an important resource of information to Marketing and Engineering for future developments.
Requirements:
BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science
Five years of experience in C programming software development or software applications engineering
Software and hardware knowledge of multi-core processor based systems
Excellent working knowledge of software components such as:
Linux OS and other operating systems
Device Drivers
Applications
Firmware
Hypervisors
Solid knowledge of software related constructs including coherency, locking, interrupts, virtualization, threading, and parallel processing
Experience with software requirements for markets such as network/storage/telecommunication infrastructures, cloud computing or high-performance computing
Hands-on embedded software development cycle experience with design, prototype, implementation, test, debug and performance analysis
Understanding of bring-up of computer boards and systems.
Prior exposure to customer engagements in a sales setting is highly desired
Ability to present deep technical concepts to customers
