wireless semiconductor OEM's, handset OEM's, Network Equipment OEM's and Mobile Operators.
Azimuth?s real world test solutions enable research, development, QA and marketing engineers to
test the performance, conformance and certification of broadband wireless devices and networks
supporting data, voice and video applications.
Job Description
Azimuth?s Field Application Engineers (FAE?s) are the technical liaisons between Azimuth?s world
class engineering and marketing organizations and Azimuth?s customers worldwide. They are
responsible for pre and post sales customer support, technical marketing activities and, as a part of
the sales team, share responsibility for achieving Azimuth?s revenue objectives.This position will
report to the Regional Sales Manager as part of the Americas sales organization and will be based in
either Chicago, IL or Dallas, TX.
Responsibilities
The FAE will provide pre- and post-sales technical support for Azimuth?s solutions to major and
geographic accounts within the assigned territory.
Responsibilities for the position include, but are not limited to:
? Introducing Azimuth?s solutions to new customers and existing customers in a pre-sales
environment
? Conducting demonstrations and evaluations at customer facilities
? Establishing, communicating, and demonstrating Azimuth?s value proposition to address
customers? specific needs during the sales process
? Defining and architecting value-added solutions for Azimuth?s major accounts
? Training and post-sales support at customer facilities
? Identifying new revenue opportunities and assisting with achieving quarterly revenue objectives
? Nurturing and building long term customer relationships that encourage partner level
collaborations to ensure future revenue growth.Azimuth Systems, Inc.

Qualifications
? Bachelor?s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Master?s degree preferred.
? System level RF and digital communication theory background strongly preferred.
? Protocol and signaling knowledge of wireless technologies and standards, including 802.11,
2G/3G, LTE, LTE-A, and WiMAX, strongly preferred.
? Software and programming skills strongly preferred. Tcl and PERL programming knowledge is a
strong plus.
? Test and measurement experience with channel emulators/faders and other mobile test systems
strongly preferred.
? Customer knowledge and experience in the mobile communications market is a strong plus.
? Good oral and written communications skills required.
Personal Traits
The qualified candidate should have experience in development and/or test engineering, be selfmotivated, and willing to work independently in a fast paced, growing small company
environment.

? This position is full time and based in either Chicago, Il or Dallas, TX
? 50 ? 75% Domestic travel will be required
