Field Applications Engineer Azimuth Systems
Responsible for pre- and post-sales technical support and applications engineering to introduce
the Azimuth solution to new customers and international distribution partners. Will serve as
the technical liaison between engineering and marketing organizations and Azimuth's customers
worldwide.
Specific duties include:
(i) providing pre- and post-sales technical support for Azimuth's solutions to mobile
operator customers;
(ii) introducing Azimuth's solutions to new customers and existing customers in a presales environment;
(iii) conducting demonstrations and evaluations at customer facilities;
(iv) establishing, communicating, and demonstrating technical elements of the value
proposition to address customers' specific needs during the sales process;
(v) defining and architecting value-added solutions for major accounts;
(vi) providing training and post-sales support;
(vii) nurturing and building long term customer relationships that encourage partner level
collaborations to ensure future revenue growth.
Reports to Sales Director.
Qualified applicant will have a Master?s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering and 1 year
of experience in systems or test engineering.
Must have experience with
(i) automation scripting, Tcl and PERL,
(ii) protocol L2/L3 and signaling as well as wireless technologies and standards, including
802.11, 2G/3G, LTE and LTE-A,
(iii) system level RF and digital communication theory and
(iv) test and measurement equipment including channel emulators/faders and other
mobile test systems.
Must have good oral and written communications skills.
Position is based in Acton, MA and requires 50 - 75% domestic travel.
