Field Applications Engineer (Power Core Competency) Atrenta

Job Details :

Atrenta is seeking a candidate with a minimum of 5+ years experience with front-end tools and application technology. The successful candidate will posses knowledge of Verilog or VHDL hardware description languages and have solid communication skills.

Position Responsibilities

Assist in closing business by providing technical aid and support during various stages of the sales cycle. Position is expected to perform product demonstrations, answer inquiries, and generally assure prospective customer is exposed to the full capabilities and benefits of products specific to their application and has a positive evaluation experience
Contribute to technical direction, develop applications, applications notes, methodologies that further the adoption of SpyGlass-Power.
Work closely with Atrenta Customer Support to ensure a positive experience with Atrenta products including: logging bugs, tracking and driving bug fixes and enhancements with R&D
Develop personal rapport with key technologists at current and prospective customers

Job Requirements

BS/MS Computer Science/ Electrical Engineering/ Computer Engineering or equivalent
5+ years Applications Engineering experience and sound working knowledge of EDA front-end and/or back-end tools and application of technology.
Knowledge of problem space of Atrenta technology including RTL power estimation and reduction.
Knowledge of Verilog, System Verilog or VHDL hardware description languages
Knowledge and understanding of simulation/synthesis/verification flows
Good command of the English language, courteous manners, and ability to promote Atrenta products and corporate image through confidence, attention to detail, and reliability
Some overnight travel will be required
Design experience preferred
