The Human Resources Director provides guidance and support to the leadership/management teams of pharmacies across the company, while working with corporate HR to ensure consistent delivery of HR services.
Participate in recruitment and interviewing activities associated with new and existing positions. Work closely with site leadership and HR Staffing team to determine appropriateness of filling vacant positions, as well as determining future needs of vacancies and/or adjustments to job descriptions where necessary.
Work with pharmacy site leadership to drive an employee engagement company culture focused on work/life balance as well as Remedi?s Mission, Vison, and Values with an emphasis on empowerment, quality, productivity standards and goal alignment/attainment.
Support the coordination of management and functional training programs. Coordinate as well as deliver HR related training at pharmacy sites.
Provide direct employee relations guidance and support to site pharmacies. Provide corporate HR with feel-on-the-ground feedback/insite in order to address ER concerns in a proactive manner.
Work with Corporate HR and Marketing to ensure consistent communication across sites pharmacies.
Work with corporate HR to provide compensation and benefits related support for site pharmacy leadership and staff personnel.
Partner with GMs/site leadership on organizational development initiatives.
Coordinate the Performance/Contribution Review (PCR) process at all related sites. Work with site leadership to ensure a fair, consistent and timely PCR process.
Function as an employee advocate. Proactively identify and employee relations concerns. Provide counseling and direction. Alert leadership of areas of concern / areas for improvement.
Support corporate HR in the creation of, development, deployment and compliance of HR policies and procedures.
Implement HR strategies through managing talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, compensation, health and welfare benefits, records management, employee relations/retention, and AA/EEO compliance across our field locations.
Assists in developing organization strategies by identifying and researching human resource issues; contributes information, analysis, and recommendations for organization strategic thinking and direction; assist in establishing human resource objectives in line with organization objectives.
Supports management by providing human resource advice, counsel, and decisions; analyzing information and applications.
Guides management and employee actions with corporate HR by researching, developing, writing, and updating policies, procedures, methods, and guidelines; communicating and enforcing organization values.
Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
Participate in and ensure consistency of employee orientation across pharmacy sites.
Lead employee safety, welfare, wellness and health related initiatives/activities at pharmacy sites.
Work with site leadership to support site-specific operational initiatives as appropriate.
Identify opportunities to further integrate HR support at pharmacy sites
Work in conjunction with HR counterparts to ensure a seemless delivery of HR products and services.
BS/BA degree in business or HR related area of study.
7-10 years as an individual contributor and/or manager within an HR capacity.
Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and written with English as the primary language. Must have exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and lead, strong problem solving abilities, and a strong customer service focus.
Must be dependable with ability to be flexible, function independently and works under pressure with multiple tasks and deadlines. Must have strong organizational, time management skills, ability to problem solve.
Contact with Others:
High frequency of contact with employees and candidates, with limited contact with customers/vendors. Requires effective interpersonal skills exhibiting a pleasant out-going and caring attitude, the ability to interact positively with a professional attitude and demeanor.
