Field Engineer Digital Sandbox

The Field Engineer applies Digital Sandbox software in direct support of customer projects. This position requires strong technical skills combined with a professional customer-friendly personality. Working cooperatively with the Client Services and Product Engineering teams, the Field Engineer is expected to implement, use, extend, and improve Digital Sandbox software products to help meet customer needs.
Specific Responsibilities:
Understands every aspect of Digital Sandbox software products, from their requirements and design to development and deployment
Understands our customers, both existing and potential, including their capabilities, challenges, and needs
Works directly with our customers, often on-site, to implement Digital Sandbox products and services
Integrates Digital Sandbox software products with external systems and data sources
Identifies new opportunities to apply Digital Sandbox software products in our customer environments, including additional system and data integrations, new features, and tailored outputs
Provides demonstrations and training of Digital Sandbox software products and prototypes
Required Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
2-5 years experience working on client-facing software projects
Bachelors Degree or higher with major in a computer science, engineering, or related field of study
Experience with web development, database development/management, and enterprise application integration
Experience with the following programming languages and technologies: ASP.NET, C, JavaScript, SQL
Ability to acquire and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance

Desired Qualifications (preferred, but not required):
Experience with the following is a plus: SSRS reports, mobile development (e.g. Apple iOS and Objective C, Android and JAVA), GIS technologies (e.g. ESRI, Google Earth), SharePoint
Experience with public safety agencies and/or State and local government a plus
Prior experience with any of the following industries is a plus: management consulting, homeland security, emergency management (e.g., fire, EMS, law enforcement)
