Field Marketing Coordinator â€" EMEA HQ
Location Netherlands or Belgium (Antwerp)
Reporting into the Corporate Marketing Manager EMEA, as well as working closely with the global marketing team, this new position is focused on designing and executing a wide range of industry tradeshows, multi-city program tours, educational roundtable and seminars, executive briefings with Fortune 500 clients across Europe, Middle East and South Africa. The EMEA region currently has five operating regions, North, Central, Western, Southern Europe and the Middle East with recent expansion into Eastern Europe and Russia. The role offers the challenge to share in driving EMEA growth as part of an international management team in a fast growing, pre-IPO company, with proven market-leading and award winning technology.
Responsibilities
The Field Marketing Coordinator EMEA will be responsible for all aspects of delivering successful events including communications, logistics management, staff coordination, budget management, lead development and follow-up. In addition, the Field Marketing Coordinator EMEA will manage the coordination, and upkeep of Infoblox event necessities per region.
Market Segments
The role is firmly positioned to drive lead generation, build pipeline and increase brand awareness by strengthening Infoblox' s position within the EMEA Enterprise Networking, Data Centre, and Virtualization environments by targeting organizations with reliable, automated network services.
Business Development
The role is results-focused, working directly with the regional EMEA sales and channel teams to drive quantifiable sales leads resulting in increase of sales pipeline via quantifiable lead generation and brand awareness focused marketing events.
Requirements
- Development
The development of an EMEA wide event-driven branding and customer lead demand
-generation program is a key responsibility of the role. An immediate priority is the
development of an event-planning cycle to cover all current and future operating regions. The role requires creative thinking skills and ability to develop concepts and incorporate team feedback.
2. Planning
The role requires a highly organized and detail-oriented person with strong problem-solving abilities; a passion for developing and executing event experiences that exceed expectations; and a proven ability to manage events through entire lifecycle, from requirements gathering through delivery, on time and on budget with minimal supervision.
3. Budgetary
The role will require the preparation of financial proposals for approval within the company's main budget.
4. Implementation
The role is to drive the Marketing event planning cycle within EMEA. The role will work closely with the global marketing and channel team in order to integrate, and maximize impact of the region's field marketing activities.
5. Measurement
Quantifiable measurement of success is seen as key, and all activity will need to have track-able indices, developed and implemented to measure the success of all programs.
Skills
- Outstanding organizational skills and experience managing a variety of events, with an emphasis on trade events.
- Creative thinking skills and ability to develop concepts and incorporate team feedback.
- Passion for developing and executing event experiences that exceed expectations.
- Proven ability to manage events through entire lifecycle, from requirements gathering through delivery, on time and on budget with minimal supervision. Experience managing $.5 million annual budget or more preferred.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ensuring message consistency and content accuracy.
- Ability to manage internal and/or external teams of event participants.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and ability to manage budget spreadsheets.
- Excellent Microsoft PowerPoint (and Office) skills. Photoshop/Dreamweaver experience, a plus.
Experience
1. Minimum 5 years of experience in a marketing, lead generation, or marketing communications capacity in the software/technology industry
2. Highly desirable to have at least 2 years' working knowledge of meeting, conference, and event planning operations
3. BS or BA related degree in Marketing or Communications, or equivalent experience
