Field Marketing Manager Rogue Wave Software
Are you always marketing? Did you develop a campaign plan for your lemonade stand as a child? Do you analyze TV commercials for strategy? We are looking for a creative field marketing manager to plan and implement all types of events, big and small ? from large conferences to in-person workshops and live webinars. You?ll develop and own the event marketing channel from beginning to end and will be responsible for ensuring that event logistics are delivered on time and within budget.

Under limited supervision, this position is responsible for identifying, planning and executing all details around Rogue Wave events across product lines and regions. He or she contributes actively in team collaboration for the overall marketing plan while formulating unique and repeatable event programs to support campaigns.
Organize and manage both in-person and virtual Rogue Wave hosted events (e.g. webinars, on-site training, events in tandem with conferences, educational seminars).
Develop and/or coordinate the development of event promotions, including messaging, press releases, presentations, graphics, email invitations, website landing pages, whitepapers, recorded videos, signs, posters, and collateral.
Manage the market events calendar from beginning to end, expertly tracking many moving parts and details with the ability to report on progress at any time.
Tie event marketing efforts closely with other marketing initiatives including social media, PR, and product launches.
Evaluate conference sponsorship opportunities, including negotiating contracts and executing deliverables.
Evaluate speaking opportunities at conferences, communicate need internally, and manage speaking proposals.
Coordinate all tactics, proper representation, and approved messaging across various stakeholder groups (e.g.: sales, product management, and engineering).
Cultivate and expand marketing vendor relationships to ensure best in class service and pricing.
Run meetings to coordinate tactics around events, communicating messaging to all participants and ensuring audience relevance and brand consistency.
Develop repeatable metrics and tracking systems for all events to measure ROI.
Keep inventory of event materials such as backdrops, computers, and other display materials.
Business/Technical Competencies and Work Environment:
Effective project management skills; Agile understanding is a plus.
Sound understanding of marketing principles.
Strong business copywriting, administration and organizational skills.
Great communication skills.
Work Experience and Education:
Degree in marketing, public relations or journalism or equivalent field. Minimum of 2 ? 3 years of marketing experience, high-tech preferred. Computer proficient with Microsoft Office, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe Photoshop.
