This position requires 80% travel within the Cleveland region (in the field Monday afternoon through Thursday, in the Brandmuscle office on Monday morning and all day Friday).
The Field Marketing Manager (FMM) is responsible for creating awareness and driving dealer participation in local marketing programs offered through our client?s corporate marketing department and vendor partners and successfully executing such initiatives to achieve the client?s business objectives of protecting and expanding market share.
This is accomplished through:
Understanding client business, marketing strategies, local dealer marketing programs and internal processes to manage such programs.
Developing relationships with client sales managers, distributor partners and internal media/events and client service teams to better understand dealer channel, local market conditions and program offerings.
Developing relationships with dealer base to better understand local business needs.
Developing, recommending and working with internal team to execute local media and marketing plans for the dealers, suggesting appropriate local programs, tactics, and tools that supplement national marketing activities to drive sales at the local store level.
Assisting local dealers in strategically managing and spending co-op funds.
As a cross-functional team member, providing input into and influence on the programs and developing local market reinforcement options.
Communicating effectively across all levels of the organization, providing ongoing feedback and assessment of program status and issues to managers and executives.
?Bachelor?s degree required preferably in marketing, advertising, public relations or communications
?Must be innovative, organized, and efficient with the ability to prioritize and execute multiple projects
?Impeccable communication skills
?Field-based, multi-unit distribution system experience is preferred
?Proven ability to sell
?Must be able to accommodate a fluctuating schedule, with 80% travel
?Self-starter, able to manage workload and time in a deadline-driven environment
?Ability to balance a heavy travel schedule appropriately with team deliverables and constant communication
Minimum five years of experience in Field Marketing required, including direct involvement with senior managers; additional marketing or retail operations experience preferred Experience in marketing or promotional agencies, media sales, brand management, or advertising operations
