The Field Marketing Manager (FMM) role is responsible for driving field-based marketing and lead generation plans to increase the opportunity pipeline for X-IO account executives, and to penetrate new-name accounts, coordinating work with X-IO?s platinum channel partners.
This position will develop and drive marketing programs that generate quality pipeline and move prospects through the sales cycle. The FMM role will directly support Field Marketing Representatives (FMRs) placed within channel partner accounts in North America and EMEA.
This opportunity is ideal for a proven lead-generation and program-oriented marketing professional with experience in channel marketing and development activities.
The field marketing manager reports to the VP, Marketing.
Proactively drive regularly scheduled marketing programs including planning, execution, and results analysis.
Leverage shared corporate marketing materials and initiatives to execute those field marketing programs.
Manage marketing calendar to ensure alignment with corporate and partner programs as appropriate.
Create and manage a regional marketing dashboard that tracks effectiveness/impact of marketing spend on pipeline, using defined tools and resources. Monitor progress and measure results of all key marketing campaigns through regular pipeline inspection and deal tracking.
Work cross-functionally with product marketing, channel, campaign, and digital media teams to develop marketing content, manage email campaigns, and ensure consistent brand messaging across all communications.
Create customized lead generation campaigns with partners (e.g., telemarketing, e-mail, direct mail, seminars, advertising) and manage campaigns within marketing automation tools in order to support metrics for lead dashboards and quarterly business reports. Supply steady flow of fresh outbound contacts for lead generation.
Deliver partner communications, develop joint collateral, and strategically manage joint events
Support the brand, manage and leverage local and social media to drive awareness, demand generation and audience acquisition.
Collaborate with regional sales and partners to build an integrated marketing and communications plan for that region, to support the sales goals/priorities,
Collect feedback proactively from sales and platinum channel partners to the marketing organization to ensure close alignment between regional marketing investment and sales requirements.
Develop and maintain training programs for onboarding new Field Marketing Representatives
5-10 years of marketing experience, with strong field marketing credentials and experience
Proven track record of successfully partnering with sales teams and channel partners
Demonstrable experience working in a fast-paced, small-company environment with minimal supervision
Experience with developing integrated, multi-touch marketing plans
Enterprise technology background with strong solution selling knowledge
Experience with sales and marketing automation systems ? Salesforce and Pardot
Self-motivated, innovative, collaborative, multitasker, with creative and analytical skills
Must possess excellent project management skills and communication skills
Proven excellence oral and written communication skills
Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment
Ability and willingness to travel regularly
