Eloqua is looking for a passionate and talented Field Marketing Manager to join our team in Austin TX, Boston MA, San Francisco CA, Vienna, VA or Toronto, Canada.
The Field Marketing Manager will play a vital role in implementing and executing regional and mid-stage field marketing and lead generation programs, as well as assist with territory-specific targeting and tactical support of Eloqua?s Sales organization. In this role, you will build strategic relationships with the Eloqua sales teams and work closely with them to align to and support their needs. The Field Marketing Manager will also understand the individual sales territories and their unique circumstances in order to execute initiatives to meet sales objectives in each region. In essence, you will provide the sales tools, campaigns, events, and targeting assistance needed to help the Eloqua sales team prospect effectively and accelerate their pipeline.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Helps build a world-class prospecting machine
- Helps develop new markets
- Helps to enable the buyer?s journey to drive conversion and accelerate the sales cycle
- Implements and executes regional marketing plans, programs and campaigns designed to build the sales pipeline, generates leads and accelerates opportunities for the field
- Works closely with Regional Vice Presidents of Sales to Identify key target markets and organizations
- Analyzes and assesses territory-specific target account and lead flow data to diagnose specific areas of focus and prioritize field campaigns
- Fosters close relationships with regional Sales teams and Eloqua?s teleprospecting group
- Works with Sales, Product Marketing, Partner Marketing, Creative Services and/or agencies in the execution of field marketing plans
- Researches of and outreach to industry and program-specific associations to identify potential sponsorship opportunities in specific regions
- Provides support through sales tools, training and market expertise to the sales force to ensure their ability to consultatively sell solutions
- Understands complex buying/selling processes involving multiple decision-makers for software and services purchases
- Assists event and marketing program managers in developing regional and campaign specific target lists
- Communicates with Sales to gain buy-in, understanding and participation in marketing programs
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Bachelor's degree required, along with 5 years of marketing experience
- Experience in B2B a demand generation environment preferred
- Proven ability to work closely and successfully with a B2B sales organization
- Proven ability to successfully execute a variety of marketing programs, including targeted direct mail and email, field events, awareness campaigns
- Strong experience with highly targeted marketing to sales target lists a plus
- Experience with researching and identifying sales targets on an industry or geographical basis a plus
- Ability to work very independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytics, reporting, project management and written communication skills
- Rigorous attention to detail and focus on quality of deliverables
- Ability to inspire; positive attitude, and an empathy toward the needs of salespeople
- Some travel required ? 10 to 20%
