Field Marketing Manager (US East Region) Venafi
Venafi is looking for a dynamic Field Marketing Manager professional who will be responsible for the development of marketing campaign strategies and field execution within the US East sales territory to increase sales pipeline.
This role requires a highly self-motivated individual who can quickly become familiar with a wide range of concepts, market trends, sales executives and effective demand-generation techniques in the high-tech, enterprise security software realm.
Build trust and effective working relationships with field account executives for overall pipeline development, account opportunity management, tracking progress and discovering new expansion potential.
This person will create and execute field-marketing campaigns that deliver tangible business results.
The primary goal of the field marketing manager is to generate new sales pipeline by creating valuable awareness activities and demand-generation campaigns that will appeal to IT Security, IT Operations, and Audit/Compliance professionals, with the end goal of generating qualified leads.
Measure campaign and program success and continuously evaluate for improvement, course corrections, effective resources management (time, money and people) and ROI. This includes weekly reporting on programs and metrics.
Oversee the creation, execution and management of field marketing campaigns by leveraging existing content and campaign assets to promote Venafi products and services within the US East territory, including regional webinars, customer loyalty activities, lunch and learns, partner events, etc.
Develop and manage field marketing budget and expenses including MDF funds and programs.
Ensure pipeline growth for sales executives within target markets and verticals.
Collaborate and communicate effectively within cross-functional marketing, sales and product marketing teams.
5+ years of high-tech field marketing experience with an emphasis on demand generation
Strong analytical and marketing skills
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
Strong organizational skills and the ability to interact effectively with people at all levels, especially with the sales organization
Ability to work independently in changing environments, and the ability/willingness to learn
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Experience with B2B software marketing/sales
Self-motivated and a team player
Experience driving demand in enterprise technology markets
Enterprise software sales/marketing experience into Fortune 1000 accounts
45% travel within eastern US required
