What is a Field Operations Manager responsible for?
Serves as field liaison to Core Performance corporate office for matters related to customer implementation, engagement, problem resolution, administration and communication across sites and overall client experience; will frequently provide assessments of these processes to leadership.
Responsible for the oversight and general management of 8-20 individual workplace fitness / wellness centers.
Manages the operational relationship with the client on behalf of all assigned Core Performance centers.
Responsible for managing a team of site leaders within a region or defined account, hiring and staff development in collaboration with Corporate Leadership and HR, and providing effective coaching feedback and development action plans to site leaders.
Accountable for P&L performance and creation and monitoring of individual and overall site budgets.
Implements processes to improve the overall performance of individual sites, including membership, engagement, customer service and efficiency.
Solves problems effectively with an emphasis on developing proactive, productive approaches utilizing internal and external support functions.
Responsible for documenting and reporting metrics to client and operations team and reporting on a monthly/quarterly/ad hoc basis.
Understands the sites? challenges and productively facilitates communication with, and involvement of, other functional areas (HR, IT, Operations etc.)
Works closely with clients and Core Performance sales team to identify expansion opportunities including new or existing service offerings and provides guidance for the integration of services.
Participates in client and/or site meetings, committees and task forces to support strategic initiatives and goals and to maintain strong relationships.
Communicates and deploys strategic goals and initiatives for the on-site operations team.
Responsible for development, implementation and oversight of new and existing operational procedures to ensure compliance with corporate procedures.
Manage client engagement including client advocacy, education, wellness, and worksite promotions.
Creates and manages project plans, timelines and budgets.
Represent the business with the highest level of professionalism and energy.
What does it take to be a Field Operations Manager with Core Performance?
Previous experience as a Regional Operations Manager / Multi-Unit Management in the corporate wellness, fitness or healthcare related field.
Previous experience with implementations, new roll-outs and/or account take-over of fitness/health center/hospitality facilities.
At least 5 years experience managing strategic relationships /partnerships / staff in a business or health/wellness environment.
Prior budget and P&L responsibility required.
Excellent demonstrated follow-up skills & attention to detail.
Demonstrated experience with medical or wellness information management systems preferred.
Demonstrated process / efficiency management.
Strong written, verbal, presentation skills required.
Strong Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook skills required.
Ability to work both independently and as a team member while managing remote teams.
Ability to interact and build relationships at various levels of the organization (both internal and external).
Ability to think on her/his feet managing change; high energy, positive attitude, sense of urgency.
Bachelor?s degree or higher in a related field (fitness, wellness, hospitality, business) or equivalent work experience, MBA preferred.
May require up to 50% travel.
Position to be located in Phoenix, Arizona office.
