Field Sales Desk Program Manager Ruckus Wireless

To meet this demand for our products, Ruckus is creating a team of professionals to support our global sales efforts. Reporting to our Deputy General Counsel ? Commercial at our Sunnyvale headquarters, the Field Sales Program Manager will partner with a contracts manager and in-house and outside counsel to meet the contracting needs of our sales team throughout the sales cycle from prospecting to managing our contractual obligations post-signing. This position demands somebody that can drive results across business units in an expedited manner.
Your responsibilities will include:
Determining common commercial terms of our carrier customers and significant sales channel partners
Working across business units to develop Ruckus business capabilities to meet those demands
Determining a range of options Ruckus can offer to address contractual requirements of our customers
Build a sales ?playbook? defining Ruckus responses to contractual provisions and building an empowerment matrix for escalating concessions
Working with our field sales personnel and partners, determine customer requirements from RFPs, tenders and other bidding situations.
Track needs and drive decision making across the organization to determine Ruckus responses.
Support field sales and contracts management to prepare responses to RFPs, tenders and other commercial bidding situations where Ruckus field sales or sales partners are engaged
Obtain and document concession approvals and final deal approval across business units within the company in both the bidding process as well as contract negotiations.
To be considered, you should have the following qualifications:
5+ years of experience managing complex programs with mutiple contingencies and participants across multiple functional areas and with often unrealistic deadlines
Experience supporting sales efforts to cable and/or wireline/wireless telecommunication carriers domestically and internationally is highly preferred
An understanding of common legal and business issues related to the sale of hardware and the license of software is desireable
