Field Sales Executive BlueStripe Software
BlueStripe Software, a Research Triangle Park based start-up recently recognized as an "Application Performance Management Innovator" by Gartner, is seeking talented individuals to help grow its Field Sales Team.The principal responsibilities for this position are to generate revenue from lead sources and to develop new clients in a defined territory for our IT products. Selected candidates will be expected to achieve their revenue sales target.
Primary Roles and Responsibilities
Overall responsibility for all sales activity within the assigned territory, including:
Development of a regional sales strategy for both direct & indirect channels
Deliver sales presentations/demonstrations
Forecast and report sales activity
Consistently improve personal product knowledge, industry knowledge and communication skills
Optimize the effective use of BlueStripe resources within the assigned territory
Travel as required
Required Skills / Competencies
Senior level of sales experience (at least 5 years), selling software solutions to senior (C-Level) executives
Technical acumen with the ability to present and sell technology products in a business context
Experienced in several of the following: systems management, network management, application performance management
Ability to establish client relationships and network within organizations
Ability to qualify opportunities and assess prospect value
Ability to forecast sales opportunities
Consistent top performer
Strong presentation, management, and negotiation skills
Process-oriented, strategic approach to selling with a track record of qualifying and closing complex, high value sales transactions
Ability to drive the sales process from prospecting through closure
Desired Skills / Competencies
Established relationships with executives and IT decision-makers throughout a local/regional territory
