Fleet Operations Department
The Fleet Operations Department operates and maintains the largest fleet of residential solar PV projects in the country. We are responsible for all projects after they are turned on. Our goal is to maximize customer satisfaction, financial performance, and resource efficiency. We preemptively reduce service incidents by ensuring all systems are built in accordance with industry leading quality best practices and utilize reliable equipment from stable manufacturers. After each system is placed into service, we orchestrate the reliable collection of data, monitor performance trends, and manage field service activity.
Job Description
This individual will oversee field service coordination and actively manage relationships with service partners for their assigned geographic regions. Field service activities encompass all preventive maintenance and modifications to Sunrun projects after installation. This individual is an essential team member who ensures that solar facilities are performing optimally and customer satisfaction remains high. They will identify areas of operational inefficiency and implement solutions to drive process improvements for both service partners and the department. The field service team is growing and this individual has the opportunity to help shape how Sunrun manages field service.
Responsibilities
Manage daily flow of service requests from issue identification through final resolution
Proactively identify projects that require service
Manage assigned service partners, including delivering reports and metrics
Collaborate with internal teams (Customer Care, Sales) to resolve complex service issues
Ensure Sunrun customer satisfaction through swift execution of service
Develop and document processes
Develop technical areas of specialization (system performance, monitoring, reporting, field procedures) to contribute to the team
Required Qualifications
Bachelor?s degree
1-3 years? work experience
Experience with the design, installation, or service of PV systems (desired)
Project management experience (desired)
Experienced CRM user (desired)
Detail oriented and organized
Critical thinking and quantitative skills; comfortable analyzing data
Adaptability and comfort working in unstructured and evolving environment
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Proactive and energetic
