ClearEdge Power is a growing, global business with immediate openings for field service technicians in the NY/NJ metro area.
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Perform maintenance and repairs on customer owned products at customer sites in the New York, NY and northern NJ territories
Commission new products after installation at new site locations
Maintain accurate product maintenance histories
Ensure all company service vehicles are properly maintained
Monitor, forecast and restock all spare parts as needed
Continuously work to improve the availability of the ClearEdge Power products to the customer while working to improve the cost effectiveness of providing service
High School Diploma
Electrical or HVAC trade school certification, AA/AS or equivalent degree preferred
Professional, self starter with strong desire to learn
Good communication skills
3 to 10 years hands on experience servicing/troubleshooting products containing a variety of electronic, electrical power and mechanical components
Extensive experience with computer systems ? specifically remote monitoring and control
Flexibility to provide service to critical customer needs upon demand
Daily regional travel required
