Field Services Engineer (CS 203) Aurora Networks
Position Type: Permanent Full Time
Experience: Minimum 5 years experience at a MSO
Support the Aurora Networks sales organization by providing technical support of product configuration, cost analysis, engineering proposals and technical presentations on a national and international basis. Additionally support products in the areas of product training, testing and documentation in both the lab and field.
Installs, troubleshoots, and maintains products/equipment. Trains customers or employees, identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures, orders and replaces parts as needed. Determines and recommends which products or services best fit the customers' needs.
Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures, relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. May provide consultation on complex projects and is considered to be the top level contributor/specialist. Extensive travel required. Reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.
