DescriptionAs our field technician, you will be involved in multiple aspects of our day to day operations. This includes home repair, proactive and reactive maintenance and field support.
Specific tasks include
Light carpentry work fixing broken cabinets, repairing damaged tables etc.
Basic plumbing including fixing toilets, unclogging drains, fixing leaking faucets.
Basic electrical work fixing blown fuses, troubleshooting and resolving HVAC and appliance problems.
Rapid response field support, including transportation of assets and stock.
You will be on your feet while out and about in Manhattan and Brooklyn, so we hope you like to stay busy! Doing an excellent job and exceeding expectations will undoubtedly lead to growth within the company, particularly as our field team will be expanding as we add more homes.
Skills and experience required
You'll have a strong work ethic, and be a very practical with your hands. You may even have been dubbed Mr Fix-it by your friends. You will also have an excellent attention to detail and take pride in doing a job thoroughly and properly. Youll have a friendly demeanour and also be presentable and able to interact with all types, whether it be home owners of high-end properties or very discerning guests. Finally, you?re looking for something more than just a 9-5 job and are willing to put in hard work to progress within a high growth business.
Other attributes required
Ability to work weekend days and nights once in a while.
A valid drivers licence.
Minimum of a high school degree.
Fluent in English both written and verbal.
Comfortable being on your feet for the majority of the day.
Live relatively close in terms of travel time to Manhattan.
