Job Requirements:
Operate twinfold and/or roll form machines used to shape precision folded workpieces used in the manufacture of heat transfer products from solid coiled stock.
Read and interpret blueprints and/or job orders to determine product specifications, tooling instructions, and sequence of operations.
Mount, install, and align dies and workpieces on twinfold and/or roll form machines.
Control position of machine and workpiece in relation to each other, set specified feeds/ speeds, and make adjustments as necessary.
Set-up fixture or feeding device, start machine, feed sheet metal, and engage feed.
Inspect all finished product to confirm meets blueprint and/or job order specifications.
Record usage of all dies.
Inspect dies. Forward defective dies to the Tool & Die team.
Complete all required paperwork.
Use all safety devices/tools to ensure safe operation of twinfold and/or roll form machines.
Perform minor machine maintenance as required or directed.
Ensure work area is kept clean and organized at all times.
Knowledge, understanding, and compliance with Niagara Thermal Products (NTP) policies and procedures.
Make recommendations to implement improved processes.
Provide feedback to management concerning possible problem or areas of improvement.
Participate in cross training throughout manufacturing facility. Dependant upon company need, may be posted in alternate work assignment.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Indicates secondary in nature.
Qualifications:
High school or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) or technical school diploma or equivalent in relevant work experience preferred.
3 months related experience and/or training required. 6 months related experience and/or training preferred.
Proficient in accurate use of micrometers, calipers, and other measuring tools.
Ability to read and work to set tolerances and work from blueprints.
Ability to set-up and operate twin fold or roll form machines.
Mechanically inclined and possess strong degree of attention to detail.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw and apply valid conclusions.
Ability to maintain accurate records required for production and quality.
Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions and/or correspondence.
Basic mathematical skills required.
Ability to be cross trained throughout manufacturing facility.
Ability to work in a team fostered environment.
Ability to adapt to a flexible schedule.

Manufacturing environment.

Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts.
