The Finance Associate works with a team on various finance-related projects with a major focus on violations (parking tickets, speeding citations, etc.). It is imperative that the individual have strong communication, Excel, and computer skills as well as a keen eye for trends and change. This great entry level position will allow you to see into and interact with a variety of other areas in the company. Only applications with cover letters included will be considered
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Process violations ? includes payments, data entry, transfer of liability, and member communication.
Appropriately respond to member inquiries including questions, pushback and frustrations.
Manage and present data into quality analytical reports: and define action steps necessary to make improvements.
Make recommendations to supervisor and team regarding process improvements and efficiency opportunities.
The successful candidate must have the following experience, skills, and education:
Bachelor degree preferred.
Must have strong Excel and computer skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills; customer service experience a must. Individual must be prepared to edit own work but also to read and interpret documents and forms.
Interpersonal skills ? outgoing, able to work with internal people across departments and offices but also state and municipal offices.
Energetic problem-solver; self-starter who works with a team to identify and implement procedure updates and improvements.
Ability to prioritize and organize the workload in an environment prone to interruptions.
Passionate and knowledgeable about the Zipcar mission.
Willingness to take on new tasks and projects.
Dependability?the individual is consistently at work and on time, follows instructions, responds to management direction and solicits feedback to improve performance
