Finance Business Applications Analyst Yelp
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED Yelp is looking for a Finance Business Applications Analyst superstar to join the San Francisco office. This person will support the Oracle finance system environment & manage projects related to expanding Yelp?s Oracle footprint, international expansion and acquisitions. This role will partner with the accounting team to stabilize, enhance and scale the Finance applications environment to meet Yelp?s accounting needs.
Apply accounting knowledge and experience to implementing, supporting, migrating and upgrading Yelp?s Oracle applications.
Operate as a functional financial systems expert for the Accounting and Finance department.
Work with the accounting and technical resources to support, enhance and globally scale the existing Oracle Financials footprint.
Gather and formalize business requirements and prepare detailed documentation.
Align with accounting department to design and implement new business processes to align with system solutions.
Setup and configure Financial modules in Oracle as needed.
Partner and coordinate with developers and 3rd party hosting provider on executing Finance system improvements.
Plan and conduct regression tests, user acceptance tests, and data validations.
Provide support to business unit clients and work with team to resolve critical issues.
Identify, document and expedite resolution of Oracle functionality issues. Track and expedite Oracle SR (Service Requests) and assist with the planning and testing of updates and patches.
Develop and maintain training materials and job aides. Conduct end user training.
Develop and maintain functional specifications for custom reports and processes utilizing Oracle FSG?s and Discoverer.
Bachelor?s degree in Business, Management Information Systems, Finance, Accounting or related degree.
5+ years of implementing, supporting and maintaining an Oracle Financials environment.
Must be strong in excel and able to analyze accounting data.
Participation in an Oracle implementation and has supported the Oracle AR, AP, GL & CM Financials modules required.
Must be familiar with Oracle setups, configurations and tables.
Knowledge of Oracle?s AIM methodology, documentation and general software development life cycle.
SQL knowledge required.
Strong Oracle WEB ADI, FSG and/or Discoverer Experience.
Great understanding of accounting concepts and principles.
Strong customer interaction and communication skills.
Ability to work with a fast-paced and agile team focused on strong execution.
