Responsibilities:
Manage and improve financial and accounting processes
Reconcile data from various sources and provide actionable insights
Implement, monitor and continuously improve metrics/KPIs to help manage business effectively
Oversee billing, collections, accounts payable, and accounts receivable; bank reconciliations and closing processes; lead annual budget process; ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Practices (GAAP)
Prepare balance sheet, profit and loss, cash flow, and consolidated statements, and supporting schedules; compare actual results to budget projections; develop summaries and interpretations
Work directly with management and group leaders to develop financial models, plans, and forecasts
Provide operational feedback by analyzing financial reports and variances; determine and provide feedback to managers
Implement sales commissions plans and calculate commission on quarterly basis
Respond to operations managers' requests for information and supply regular updates to and answers questions from executive, board-level, and external parties regarding financial statements
Support scalable company growth and international expansion
Implement and communicate business/financial processes and procedures that will enhance and support company objectives
Identify and implement improvements to business processes and communication, including working structures, relationships, workflow, procedures, accounting tools and software, etc.
Create and maintain a strong accounting & operational control environment to safeguard assets and reduce business risks
Coordinate and manage communication, documentation and support for audits and reviews, and review audit issues and supports corrections as necessary
Requirements:
Degree in accounting and finance, with 5-10 years progressive experience including experience managing direct reports
Financial modeling experience with deep knowledge of financial statements, excel and data analysis
Ability to work and get along with other departments, extract relevant information and present to senior management in a concise actionable way
