We are hiring a Finance Manager to be based in our Cambridge, MA office. Reporting to the Vice President of Finance, this individual will be growth oriented and will also play a critical role in developing all areas of financial management to support a rapidly growing, multi-location business. This role is highly visible and the individual will work closely with the executive team and other stakeholders across the company to drive better process and performance.
? Build financial models to illuminate key decision points in support of business development efforts
? Work with the Vice President of Finance to research and implement new accounting and finance systems
? Develop best practices to be leveraged across all of our locations
? Manage the forecast and budget process across the company including individual locations and in consolidation
? Prepare materials for outside investors and board meetings
? Lead the monthly closing and reporting process
? Manage treasury and cash management operations with particular focus on managing various legal entities
? Manage special projects as they arise
? 3-5 years experience (with progressive responsibilities) in finance and special project roles, preferably in high-growth, dynamic organization(s)
? Public accounting experience at a large national firm preferred but no required
? Eager to learn about the health care industry
? Comfortable working in a ?culture of yes? -- where collaboration and service to colleagues is the norm
? Able to juggle multiple projects and competing priorities
? An excellent problem solver, able to focus on both the smaller task and the bigger picture
? Comfortable with high degree of ambiguity, rapid change
? Mission driven, interested in changing the world
? CPA preferred but not required
