Finance Systems Manager Fluidigm Corporation

Description

Key contributor to month-end close including revenue recognition, prepaids, fixed assets, intercompany transactions and accruals
Maintain complex files and perform detailed calculations related to deferred revenue, royalty accounting, amortization schedules and related analysis
Key contributor to ensuring timely and accurate financial close process while working closely with the Singapore Shared Services Center
Key contributor to quarterly reviews and year-end audits conducted by Companys external auditors
Perform data management, data analysis and extrapolation between various data sources to ensure completeness and accuracy for interpretation and management reporting
Key contributor in the preparation of internal reporting package for executive and senior management
Prepare and maintain flash reports and quarterly revenue tracking reports for the executive team
Contribute to SEC reporting process
Perform ad hoc and special projects, as needed



QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Experience

B.S./B.A. with 12+ years relevant experience preferably in a high growth technology or biotechnology company and/or any combination of experience and education
CPA with 3+ years of public accounting experience strongly preferred
Experience with international company transactions (intercompany accounts, foreign exchange gain/loss, consolidations and management of agreements)
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX2012 or equivalent ERP system



Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Strong analytical skills, general ledger account analysis and reconciliation and month-end close experience
Strong Excel knowledge including use of pivot tables, macros, etc.
Advanced database experience and knowledge of Essbase, Business Objects, COGNOS a plus
Ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks, cope with multiple deadlines and work under pressure
Excellent verbal, written and leadership skills (good sense of humor always valuable)
