Financial Analyst - Commissions Proofpoint
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED The Financial Analyst will be responsible for the administration of the commission process for the Worldwide Sales organization. In this role you will assist with commission plan creation and create/distribute & track individual sales plan documents. You will have the opportunity to grow within the FP&A organization by taking on analysis and reporting in areas outside of commissions.
Responsibilities will include:
Gather appropriate bookings/revenue information on a monthly basis
Track and report on performance to sales quota/plan for each individual sales incentive plan based employee
Calculate commissions including applicable bonuses/spiffs on a monthly basis
Communicate commission earned and prepare/distribute commission statements
Maintain/improve commission model and quota capacity model
3+ yrs. experience developing/implementing commission plans and calculating commissions, preferably in the software industry. Equivalent experience in other areas of Finance/Accounting will also be considered
Proficiency with Salesforce.com, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint. Knowledge of financial systems (i.e. Great Plains) is a plus
Ability to work with large Excel datasets, build complex models, and extract key information quickly. Knowledge of pivot tables, vlookups, and if/then formulas a must
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and staff
Strong customer service focus
Ability to meet strict deadlines and work under pressure
Willingness and ability to work extended hours when required
