Job Description
This position will be deeply involved in the Company?s corporate finance activities and will be responsible for providing accurate, timely, and insightful reporting and analysis to the executive staff, Board of Directors and investors. This analysis could vary in subject matter from total company performance to specific business results.
Job Responsibilities:
Prepare and analyze consolidated reporting at all levels of the organization on actuals and forecasts. Provide meaningful analysis of trends, variances and key metrics for executive management.
Assist with external reporting packages for the Board of Directors and investors. Partner with Corporate Accounting team on financial statement preparation and ad hoc Corporate reporting requests.
Support functional business G&A business partners in Finance, IT and Legal. Review and analyze actual results, develop monthly forecasts and annual budgets. Drive forecast accuracy, predictability in results, and adherence to high standards of controllership.
Drive month-end processes and reporting activities, including expense accruals, validation of consolidated results, headcount reporting, and other requests.
Gain a comprehensive knowledge of the Company?s product lines, competitive environment, and the market it addresses to better support functional initiatives and provide recommendations to business partners.
Build analytical models that utilize both financial and non-financial data to forecast operating results.
Participate in the development and implementation of process improvements.
Participate in cross-functional business projects and perform ad hoc analysis as required.
Required Skills
BS Degree in Accounting or Finance.
2-4 years of experience in financial planning, analysis, budgeting and forecasting, preferably with technology and public company experience.
Superior problem solving and analytical skills, combined with impeccable business judgment.
Excellent written and oral communication skills that enable clear and concise communication to all levels of the organization.
Demonstrated ability to build successful relationships with business partners and senior management.
Appreciation for data integrity, process definition and organizational alignment.
Passionate, energetic, enthusiastic to drive results.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Creative and innovative team player with a positive approach and a focus on business issues.
Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines with emphasis on sustained accuracy and attention to detail.
Energetic and inquisitive quick learner.
Extensive knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel.
Experience with TM1 preferred.
