The Financial Analyst is responsible for financial accounting and reporting, account analysis and reconciliation, planning and forecasting. This position requires strong accounting and analytical aptitude, ability to work on varied assignments, have well developed interpersonal skills, and able to problem solve in a diverse environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Creating and maintaining reports for senior management:
a. Area Profit and Loss reporting and analysis
b. Payroll reporting and analysis
c. Professional Service business reporting and analysis
2. Creating and maintaining reports for month end external reporting:
a. Sales reporting and analysis by:
i. Product line
ii. Customer
iii. Manufacturer
iv. Regions
v. Managed Services
b. Key Performance Indicator Summary reporting and analysis
c. Managed Service reporting and analysis
d. Rebates Profit & Loss reporting and analysis
e. Headcount reporting/managing
3. Maintaining financial data accuracy and integrity by in-depth analysis of financial reports and underlying data:
a. Reviewing financial reports and underlying data
b. Questioning reporting or data anomalies
c. Initiating error correction actions
4. Miscellaneous transactional duties as required:
a. Professional Service Cross Charges
b. Overhead Allocations
c. Payroll splits
d. Credit card processing
e. Payroll allocations
f. Ad hoc reports, as requested
Qualifications:
? Financial Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
? 3 ? 5 years related business experience in a small to medium size business
? Advanced Microsoft application skills in modeling,
? Strong knowledge in ERP applications using Oracle
