Financial Analyst I Aperio

The Financial Analyst I will support Finance Planning and Analysis Department to deliver business intelligence to the organization. The analyst will assist with the design and document work flow requirements for specific business units by analyzing ideas, trends, and concepts appropriately using the information and tools available. The qualified candidate will be able to ascertain the true needs to be met by a given project. He or she will be able to transfer information from management into needed information. Statistics from other sources will be assessed and turned into usable information.
The Financial Analyst is someone who can:
-Execute heavy data related tasks to implement new programs or maintain and enhance current systems
-Assist in evaluation, analysis, and presentation of a variety of financial, operational, sales and marketing data to help drive informed decision making.
-Maintain and modify existing periodic analyses and financial models
Qualifications:
-Advanced expertise with Excel. Ability to quickly and efficiently design flexible, well-organized and user-friendly spreadsheets to allow data modeling and periodic analyses.
-Experience with databases and queries
-Experience with JD Edwards and Salesforce.com highly valued
-Very high service orientation
-Strong facility with numbers and their graphical display
-Strong PowerPoint skills
-Strong skills in efficient data manipulation, knowledge of keyboard shortcuts, spreadsheet links, and other tools to drive quick turn-around of work
-Efficient time management and ability to set and meet deadlines
Requirements:
-BS/BA in Finance, Accounting or general management desirable
-1+ years Financial Analysis experience in Healthcare or Life Sciences industry or related field
