Job Description
Under general supervision, responsible for the preparation of month end financial statements, forecasts & budgets, business models, acquisition due diligence and KPI''s (key performance indicators).
Prepare month end financial reporting including preparation of financial statements, accrual entries and variance analysis.
Build complex financial models, create cost studies, and assist in acquisition projects.
Develop annual operating plan and coordinate with department leaders throughout the planning process.
Create, review and re-cast departmental budgets and forecasting.
Develop and present financial findings and recommendations to senior management.
Evaluate profitability of various business segments and clients.
May act as lead for lower level financial analyst(s).
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills
Advance knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including strong Excel (macros, pivot tables, linking, etc.) and Access skills.
Experience with FRx, Cognos or other SQL database a plus.
Must be able to understand and create reports analyzing the key operational drivers of business units.
Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills required.
Possess strong time management skills, analytical and technical skills. Strong aptitude for working with numbers.
Possess a strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism.
A team player who handles multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced environment.
Required Experience
Bachelor''s Degree in Finance or Accounting preferred. MBA preferred.
Minimum 5 years related experience in financial reporting, planning and analysis.
