Job Description
Xora is seeking an energetic self-starter and highly motivated Sales Account Executive to join our sales team. In this vital role, youll be responsible for managing and expanding sales in your designated market. Your primary role will be prospecting and closing new business. In addition to prospecting for new customers, you will also work with the field representatives of our carrier partners to secure mindshare and leverage their customer base to increase your pipeline. You will be expected to be a key contributor in driving daily sales and building a healthy pipeline for growth, facilitating carrier activity and executing key strategic regional initiatives/campaigns to promote the sale of Xoras product portfolio. You will be working with your Director on executing an overall territory sales strategy, jointly developing the territory as a team.
Essential Duties and Job Functions
1. Support forecasting and budget cycles including full financial statement reporting and analysis as well as revenue and cost details.
2. Maintain and support the financial planning and reporting systems including the budgeting and forecasting models, and Excel and database tools.
3. Identify and execute planning and reporting system strategies which meet business requirements in a cost effective and scalable manner.
4. Maintain, support, and (at times) develop customer, subscriber and product analysis as needed.
5. Work with the business to define and track key financial metrics.
6. Collaborate with business leaders to understand current processes, pain points and opportunities to continually improve their processes via reporting, automation and application enhancements.
7. Work with sales teams and salesforce.com administrator to develop and maintain standards, policies and procedures for sales operations.
a. Develop and implement performance metrics to drive sales excellence.
b. Support the commission process, and partner with the MIS team for ongoing improvements.
c. Analyze sales, churn and sales activity data to derive insights into sales performance.
8. Work closely with the MIS team to streamline reporting needs as well as collection and analysis of data from order processing systems.
9. Stay apprised of new upgrades, tools, technology and industry standards to manage financial tools and applications..
Experience and Skills Required
Education and Training:
- BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, or Related Field
Experience:
- 5+ years of progressive experience in Financial Planning & Analysis
Essential Skills and Abilities:
1. Strong problem-solving and financial modeling skills.
2. Strong PC-based system skills: Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Experience with salesforce.com and databases are a plus.
3. Strong attention to detail and ability to summarize data.
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with all levels in an organization.
5. Good interpersonal and negotiating skills and ability to solve problems creatively.
6. Must be a team builder and team player.
7. Organized with the ability to work well under time pressure, to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and to prioritize.
8. Some technical aptitude to understand and leverage capabilities/limitations of the various systems used within the organization.
9. Willing to work across time zones and interface with the global sales and MIS teams.
