Financial Analyst Branding Brand

Branding Brand is searching for a financial analyst, reporting directly to the CFO. This analyst will be part of a small impact team responsible for key aspects of Branding Brand's overall financial strategy including, decision support for strategic direction, various complex financial analyses, and research projects.
Responsibilities
Analyze financial information to produce forecasts of business, industry, and economic conditions for decision making
Track financial status by monitoring variances from plan
Identify trends and recommend actions
Increase productivity by developing automated applications, eliminating duplications, and coordinating information requirements
Provide information to management by assembling and summarizing data, preparing reports, and presenting findings, analyses, and recommendations
Research and analyze industries, companies, technology segments, and business models at the request of executive management
Evaluate the economics of complex financial strategies and present findings
Assist in due diligence for fundraising
Support preparation for quarterly board meetings
Maintain weekly key performance indicator reporting
Desired Skills & Experience
B.A. in Finance or Accounting, B.S., or M.B.A
At least two years of experience in investment banking or management consulting
Proven Microsoft Excel and Office suite skills, as well as other database or business software skills (e.g. VBA, SQL, NetSuite, MS Dynamics, QuickBooks)
Meticulous with high attention to detail and excellent organizational and analytical skills
Demonstrated leadership skills (i.e. ability to take charge; set objectives; drive to results; team player and friendly personality)
Deep understanding accounting and financial processes and terminology along with the ability to work in a fast paced environment with a high tolerance for ambiguity
Understanding of corporate finance theory and valuation
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Confidence and poise in presenting to executive management
Extraordinary focus on details, accuracy, and quality
Adaptable, flexible, and able to balance multiple projects, priorities, and stakeholders
Integrity, reliability, initiative, and ability to meet tight deadlines
Experience with Bloomberg, CapIQ, and other financial information sources
Exposure to legal contracts, including nondisclosure agreements, security agreements, purchase agreements, etc.
Working knowledge of traditional and software-as-a-service industries
