LegalZoom.com is seeking a Financial Business Analyst to join our Finance team. The position will have the responsibility of managing and reporting on a wide range of data, including Marketing, Finance and Operations. We are looking for a highly-motivated self-starter who is extremely analytical, is an independent and critical thinker, loves data, and is dynamic enough to learn and support a variety of business functions.What you'll do:
Analyze website A/B and Multivariate tests and assess potential impact across all business lines
Make data driven recommendations based on test results
Perform break even and cost/benefit analysis
Support revenue recognition, web analytics and competitor analysis and research
Support operations with ROI and cost analysis
Analyze daily, weekly and monthly business metrics and trends
Qualifications:
Advanced Excel skills
Ability to see the big picture while analyzing detailed data
Firm believer in your analysis and stand your ground when challenged
Demonstrated ability to deliver on tight project deadlines
Quantitative, with strong attention to detail and high degree of comfort with large volumes data
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with highly motivated team members
Familiarity with or interest in Finance, Marketing and Accounting
Strong worth ethic with ability to perform in a self-managed environment - must be good at multi-tasking
Strong interpersonal skills with focus on teamwork
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Econ, Accounting or similar majors
Familiarity with web analytics software (e.g. CoreMetrics, Omniture, WebTrends)
Familiarity with databases (e.g. SQL or Access)
Preferred: Experiences with A/B and Multivariate Testing and confidence intervals
Preferred: Experience at a consulting firm or as an in-house business analyst
