Financial Consultant Reval
About the Position
The primary responsibility is assisting Consulting Manager?s for the delivery of Reval?s Treasury and Risk Management product implementations in North America. Additionally, administers and insures compliance with all company standards, policies and procedures. Reports to Consulting Manager ? North America.
Responsibilities:
Project Management
Responsible for providing input on deliverable and tasks for project plans for implementations
Provides updates for weekly status calls, reports, projects plans, and issue lists which are updated and communicated to client
Coordinate with Reval functional teams (Prod Mgt, Dev, CS, Sales, and Prod Support) to manage client issues in a timely and effective manner.
Monitor at the project level; budget, schedule, scope, and Client Satisfaction.
Leads on-site design and requirements workshops
Leads on-site training sessions
Responsible for documenting all project activity and process flow
Mentor and Train Junior Resources
Customer Satisfaction
Champion and encourage the promotion and delivery of practices which drive up Customer Satisfaction through all aspect of the business.
Subject Matter Expertise
Will have a solid background and understand of derivatives, cash management, treasury, accounting, payments, settlements, integration/interfaces.
Has in-depth knowledge of Reval?s product offerings.
Knowledge of Corporate Treasury needs and requirements and how they are best met with Reval products or technology
Skilled at asking key questions that helps clients to discover their needs, building trust by communicating effectively with clients about status and issues, developing and presenting convincing recommendations that address key client objectives, setting appropriate expectations with client and managing them throughout the project life cycle
Required Experience:
Baccalaureate or Graduate degrees in Business, Finance or Computer Science or relevant work experience.
Strong customer support skills with demonstrated ability effectively dealing with escalated customer concerns.
3 or more years? experience in the financial industry, ideally working in a large corporate, financial institution, application vendor or a consulting practice
Past experience of dealing with Accounting bodies and firms
Experience of global accounting support concepts including cash and intercompany accounting would be advantageous
Proven experience of delivering presentations and proven documentation skills in defining business processes and solutions around accounting policy
A proven track record in project work
Thorough understanding of treasury functions within a corporate treasury.
Experience of implementing treasury systems with the experience of software being a distinct advantage.
