Financial Operations Manager Plastic Jungle

Position Summary

We are seeking a dynamic Financial Operations Manager to contribute to the success of Plastic Jungle by supporting our financial operations, leading the financial aspects of our partner initiatives, and contributing to the overall financial management of our business. We?re a small team that rolls-up our sleeves to support one the fastest growing companies in fintech.
Duties and Responsibilities

Daily Clearing, Settlement, and Reconciliation financial operations processes.
Assess, recommend, implement and maintain automated payment processes.
Ensuring the effective daily performance of financial operations in a controlled environment.
Working with functional business units to enhance financial processes to meet the changing needs of the organization.
Perform daily reconciliation of settlement and funding activities within internal and external funding accounts.
Drive automation of financial reporting and financial operations.
Participate in planning, forecasting, pricing, and ad hoc analysis to support the growth of the business.

Job Requirements

5-7 years in a leading card, payment operations, or banking environment.
Proficiency in general payment processing, clearing, settlement, and reconciliation principles.
Solid understanding of SOX 404 Compliance within an operations environment.
Ability to interface with IT and functional business units to draft, monitor, and implement necessary changes to business processes and develop automated processes.
Proficiency in standards applied to reconciliation of daily clearing and settlement, funding, and cash movement activities.
Ability to write, compile, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures for financial operations.
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related field. MBA preferred.
