The successful candidate will be a motivated and detail oriented individual who is a quick learner with excellent communication, computer and organizational skills. The candidate must be high-potential and have the ability to prioritize and follow through in a fast-paced, multitask environment. This position reports to the Sr. Manager of SEC Reporting.
Roles & Responsibilities
This position has responsibility for:
Manage the interim and annual SEC reporting process
Preparing all SEC filings, including Form 10-K, Form 10-Q, Form 8-K, annual report, and Section 16
Analyze new and proposed accounting standards issued by the SEC and FASB to determine the impact on Peregrine. Implement new accounting standards as required.
Provide information and support to business users to ensure transactions are recorded in accordance with GAAP requirements
Establish and document accounting policies and procedures
Manage stock option administration and related equity transactions
Participate in Peregrine?s SOX compliance
Manage ad hoc projects and prepare responses to various requests for information
Knowledge, Skill and Competency Requirements

Strong project management skills to establish and meet deadlines
Able to make well-reasoned and timely decisions
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
The following traits are highly valued:
Technology or semiconductor experience is a plus
Big 4 public accounting experience desirable
Knowledge of a large ERP system a plus but not required
Education and Experience:
Bachelors Degree in Accounting required
CPA required
5-8 years of experience in external reporting / public accounting
