REPORTS TO: Director, IT
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work directly with business users to provide day-to-day functional and technical support for Microsoft Dynamics AX and other financial-related systems
Collaborate with business stakeholders and business analysts to identify, define and prioritize enhancements and support items
Develop, test and implement customizations and enhancements within Microsoft Dynamics AX and related systems
Manage relationships with vendors and engage with them to resolve issues, develop enhancements and maintain product implementations via patches and upgrades
Serve as primary liaison between Technology and Accounting / Finance teams
Resolve issues in a timely manner, determine root cause and implement corrective actions required to prevent issue recurrence
Maintain reporting systems and assist business users with technical reporting assistance
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with business users and technical staff
Strong attention to detail
Good understanding of basic accounting and finance concepts and principles
Passion for creating and maintaining technology solutions
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with rapidly changing demands
Bachelor?s degree or equivalent work experience
Ability to quickly learn new concepts and technologies
Minimum 2 years of experience working with financial systems in a development or support role
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
In-depth functional knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 (or AX 2012)
Strong preference given to individuals with experience implementing, supporting and/or developing solutions within Microsoft Dynamics AX
Strong functional knowledge of Accounting and Finance business areas
Experience with financial system reporting, preferably using Microsoft FRx and/or Management Reporter
Expertise with one or more of the following development tools/technologies: X++, MorphX, Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, Microsoft Dynamics Application Integration Framework (AIF), Microsoft Visual Studio, C#, JavaScript, ASP.NET
