Who We Want:
As part of the Business Applications team, the Financial Systems Admin will be responsible for system administration of the accounting, budgeting and forecasting systems from a software perspective. We are seeking a self-starter able to identify issues, solve problems and develop solutions through user interviews, shadowing, and analysis. The Financial Systems Admin will work closely with the functional accounting, accounts payable, procurement and budget organizations to support their ongoing technology needs. Our ideal candidate has a blend of accounting and technology skills allowing them to successfully translate the finance organization?s business needs into automated solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
Application Support -- Provide technical application support to include master data maintenance, application configuration, access administration, reporting configuration, software upgrades/updates, and application integration support.
Incident Handling -- Perform investigation for problems reported by end users and provide root cause analysis and problem resolution
Business Analysis -- Assist in the implementation of new or customization of existing applications, interfaces, and system processes. Gather and document business requirements, participate in high-level and detailed design, work with vendor or development team on detailed design and coding.
Testing -- Participate in integration, regression and end-user acceptance testing. Generate and execute detailed test scripts for supported applications.
Change Management -- Log all incidents, change requests, and development work in HelpDesk ticketing system; assist in testing and implementation of change requests.
Report-Writing ? Assist in the maintenance of standard and ad-hoc reports.
Process Improvement -- Identify areas for process improvement and automation within the financial applications suite of software. Propose solutions to resolve/eliminate gaps or inefficiencies.
Audit Support -- Ensure financial and system controls are in being maintained and documented in support of SOX. Provide support and reporting to various internal, SOX, Federal and state tax, and financial auditors as needed.
Skills and Experience Necessary for the Role:
Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Accounting, or other related degree field is a must
Experience performing system administration support functions for large-scale ERP, CRM, or other SaaS financial applications.
Experience as a business and/or systems analyst
Experience in project management and business process improvement.
Experience with NetSuite, Adaptive Planning, Concur, Dell/Boomi Atomsphere, and Salesforce.com highly preferred
Professional demeanor required to serve as liaison between Finance and IT.
Focus on documentation and adherence to change management procedures.
Able to work in a fast-paced changing environment.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize daily responsibilities.
