Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be a Software Guru writing tight, embedded C code for an ARM based System-on-a-Chip. The candidate will be equally comfortable discussing many RTOS concepts, such as ISRs, device drivers, pre-emptive schedulers, IP stack architectures, IPMI, etc., over lunch. This Coding Fool Candidate will then be eager to implement the lunchtime design. Knowing that software naturally bit rots over time, this potential Software Engineer will polish the software by testing it and removing bugs. And document it. And offer hardware bring-up help in the lab to display the software perfection.
Education/Qualifications:
--BS EE/CS/CE required and 5+ years embedded firmware development.
--RTOS expertise, Linux kernel familiarity.
--C, ARM Assembly, Python, Git.
--ARM Architecture and IP.
--Strong knowledge of I2C, SPI, LAN, RS232, PCIe interfaces.
--TCP/UDP/IP protocols and network operations.
--Experience with IPMI, DCMI, SNMP.
--Experience in server manageability infrastructure.
--Development within a Linux environment.
