DescriptionPosition Summary:This is a rich media designer/developer role at VINDICO Group, a rapidly-growing subsidiary of Specific Media, a major interactive media company. You?ll work with a smart, dedicated team to build the next generation ad serving, tracking and analytics tools for the accelerating online advertising marketplace - with a special focus on video. At VINDICO Group, you?ll enjoy the challenges and opportunities of working in a start-up, but with the stability and benefits of a mature company.
Your job will include working with the Director of Application Development and client-side engineers on the creation of rich interactive media ads, built in Flash and potentially JavaScript. You will be tested on your ability to write ActionScript without the aid of libraries or frameworks, your familiarity with Flash and Rich Media best practices, and your knowledge of current implementations of rich media systems and Flash Video.

? Obsessively attentive to detail
? History of strong user interface heavy website development OR experience with rich media ad development
? Extensive motion design experience, and sensitivity for timing, and animation
? Expert knowledge of AS3, and, preferred experience with Object Oriented Programming Principles.
? Demonstration of experience with class based applications or frameworks in AS3
? Enjoys the challenge of a rapid prototyping environment and rapidly iterating on requirements
? At least 3 years development experience
? Strong communication skills - be able to communicate and work as a team
? Very hard working
? Experience working with task-tracking software and source control a big plus (esp. Team Foundation Server)
? Demonstrable ability as a ?generalist? ? able to handle various aspects of the SDLC independently
? Online portfolio Preferred
? 5 years development experience
? Expert knowledge of XML/HTML/CSS with a focus on cross-browser compatibility and semantic markup
? Very strong object-oriented development skills - able to define key object oriented concepts and techniques
? Fluent in client-side programming: JavaScript, AJAX techniques, JSON
? Familiar with one or more JavaScript libraries (esp. jQuery and jQuery UI)
? Experience with server-side languages and/or development frameworks (ASP.NET/C# a major plus, but not required; experience with PHP, Ruby, etc also OK)
