Floor Hand ThermaSource
To support the Driller, Derrick, Motor in all ground/floor operations. This position reports to the Driller, but also takes direction from the Derrick and Motorman.
Responsible for General Maintenance.
Service and maintain pipe handling equipment.
Scrubbing and cleaning the rig.
Cleaning and maintaining break trailer, change house, driller shack.
Clean and maintain location, empty trash cans.
Maintain Burms, clean spills, pump out cellar.
Responsible for Tubulars.
Accurately measure and record all drill pipe measurements.
Properly maintain and inspect tubulars.
Load and unload tubulars onto racks, V-Door and mouse hole.
During tripping operations, is responsible for operating all pipe handling equipment.
Operate rotary tongs.
Pulls slips, latches elevators.
Competent operation of the pipe spinners.
Racks drill pipe on racking board.
Assists the Driller with counting tool joints and watching over the Derrick.
Responsible for all General Work during non-Drilling operations.
Ability to swing a 16# sledge hammer for 12 hour, during nipple up procedures
Physical ability to carry A 100# Sack 500 times a day.
Ability to climb 30 stairs up 20 times a day.

0-2 years of experience.
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Must have good reading, writing, comprehension and organizational skills.

Must be willing to travel to work locations.
While performing the essential functions of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, climb, balance, bend over, kneel, crouch and crawl.
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, lift up to 100 pounds and push/pull/move up to 150 pounds.
This position requires specific vision abilities: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Must be able to successfully perform all functions of the Human Performance Evaluation (HPE) for this position.
