To continue our solid growth, we are seeking and experienced and highly motivated Financial Analyst to join our growing organization.
In this position, the successful candidate will work closely with the Controller and Chief Financial Officer, supporting a wide variety of corporate initiatives offering significant organizational visibility. The individual will support the leadership team with many aspects of financial management, including but not limited to;
Process month-end close activities, including bank reconciliations, system reports, GL reconciliations, fixed assets tracking, revenue recognition, and sales and expense analysis
Assist senior management in budget process and ongoing analysis
Manage project billing process, including both man hours and materials
Develop margin and pricing analysis as required
Manage royalty calculation and tracking
Manage the stock option tracking process
Assist in the preparation of sales and business use tax reporting
Perform regular payroll and 401k data review
Assist in the preparation for periodic audits, as necessary
Our ideal candidate must possess:
Bachelor of Science in Accounting, MBA preferred
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar Accounting or Finance role
Solid knowledge of all accounting functions and related internal controls
Demonstrated financial modeling and valuation skills
Knowledgeable in GAAP revenue and expense recognition
Experience in ERP Systems and reporting tools
Advanced MS Excel skills (pivot tables)
Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
Experience in the Life Science industry is preferred
Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills

To be successful in this role, you must be detail oriented with excellent organizational and problem solving skills.
