This is an entry level Engineer position providing engineering foundry support.
Roles & Responsibilities
This position has responsibility for:
General support of manufacturing activities and foundry liason
Analysis and extraction of data for new and existing devices & process technologies. This may include: inline measurements, PCM/WAT, SORT data
Identify product or performance issues
Support reliability evaluation
Support failure analysis
Formulate DOEs and analyze results for device performance and yield improvement
Knowledge, Skill and Competency Requirements
Competency is based on: education, training, skills and experience. In order to perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following knowledge, skills and competencies:
Bachelor of Science in Physics/Materials Science OR
Bachelor of Engineering: Electrical/Materials Science/Manufacturing
Experience in an industrial semiconductor foundry environment as a Process, Device or Integration Engineer is desirable
Process monitoring, control, optimization
WAT/SORT/packaged part testing and evaluation
The following traits are highly valued:
Strong analytical skills
Time management and prioritization, the ability to work independently
Good communication skills (both verbal and written)
Availability for occasional international travel, sometimes at short notice
Understanding of Asian cultures
Education and Experience:
Equivalent to Bachelor of Physics/Materials Science or Electrical /Materials /Manufacturing Engineering
Experience in an industrial semiconductor foundry environment as a Process, Device or Integration Engineer is desirable
Proficiency with tools such as dataPower, JMP, Excel VBA is desirable
Experience with SOI, SOS is desirable
