Fraud Operations Manager Xoom
Xoom Corporation, located in the Financial District of San Francisco, is looking for a Fraud Operations Manager reporting to the VP of Risk. This position oversees a growing fraud prevention team and provides analysis, reporting of fraud and other risks that occur on Xoom?s website, while measuring Xoom?s effectiveness in managing those risks.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Train and manage an expanding global operations team that is responsible for chargebacks/reversals, affidavit investigations, and customer-facing fraud prevention.
Create and maintain effective process-documentation related to all Fraud Operations functions.
Monitor, identify, and communicate risk trends. Provide analytics, insights and recommendations to the VP of Risk.
Build business rules to prevent fraud losses.
Create and maintain metrics for measuring the success of fraud systems and agents.
Full range of project management, including fact/data gathering and problem/project scoping, analysis and modeling.
Continuously review and improve Operations processes, including collecting feedback from the team, independently identifying areas of friction or losses and designing solutions.
Develop a positive working relationship with key domestic and international law-enforcement contacts.
Maintain excellent customer service for all Xoom customers.
5+ years of Fraud Operations experience with a strong understanding of existing and emerging fraud trends in an e-commerce setting.
Proven experience in people management and project leadership.
Experience creating effective process-documentation.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work with large volumes of data; extract and manipulate large datasets using standard tools such as Excel/SQL preferred.
Bachelor?s degree required.
