Position Location: Telecommute
We are currently entertaining applications for freelance graphic artists. As a telecommuting, contract position, we do not require your presence in our Lafayette, Louisiana headquarters. However, to be considered you must have your own iMac or MacBookPro, or a PC running Photoshop CS2 or higher along with a high speed Internet connection.
Your design style must be clean, not cluttered, and you must provide links to at least 5 sites you have designed. Please apply using the Apply form and upload your resume or portfolio.
Applications without a current portfolio of Web or interactive projects will not be considered. Please be sure to include links to Web projects you've designed.
Requirements:
- Commercial arts degree or at least 4 years experience as a commercial artist.
- At least 2 years experience designing Web sites.
- Highly proficient with Photoshop 6 or higher and ImageReady.
- Proficient with Dreamweaver, Homesite or any other HTML editor.
- Basic understanding of HTML, XML, ASP or ASP.NET would be a plus.
