Become, Inc. is looking for an energetic and talented front-end developer to join our engineering team for a 3 month contract (with a possibility to extend). In this position, you will help design and develop Become?s next generation interactive advertising units.You will be an integral part of our team?s effort, which includes engineers, product managers, and visual designers, to build dynamic and engaging advertising units. You will see your efforts improve traffic to Become.com, enhance our users? shopping experience, and scale our front-end infrastructure to handle millions more queries per day.
The ideal candidate would have experience in dynamic and interactive Flash and HTML5 ad units, work with extended team to come up with new innovative ad units and apply best practices for interactive advertising, utilize your user experience design expertise to continuously improve ad effectiveness. We are seeking team players with excellent communication skills, the ability to work effectively under tight schedules, and passion for learning new technologies.
Responsibilities:
?BS or MS in Computer Science or related field.
?Object-oriented design and implementation in Adobe Flex/ActionScript 3.0 and Javascript.
?Experience with dynamic, interactive content in Flash and HTML5.
?Experience with CSS, XML, JSON and AJAX.
?Strong sense of user experience design.
?Knowledge of web technologies (HTTP, Apache/Tomcat).
?Basic understanding of databases and SQL.
Pluses:
?Previous experience with Actionscript build systems.
?Previous experience with advertising networks from advertiser?s side.
