What you?ll do: As a killer front-end developer, you?ll take new ideas, run with them, and turn them into realities. We?re not looking for someone who ?just codes.? We?re looking for someone who can roll up their sleeves and jump into any project?front-end, back-end, or design?and get things done. You?ll also work hand-in-hand with world-class designers as you help bring their visions to life (you?ll even get to stretch your design wings under their guidance).
Responsibilities: What will I do?
Build web pages, microsites, widgets, interactive ads and more
Add functionality to our existing sites
Write front-end code with HTML, CSS and Javascript (jQuery, JSON)
Write back-end code with PHP
Design projects under the direction of our senior designers
Interface with a variety of clients ? and personalities ? within the company
Project manage multiple projects simultaneously (amid break-neck speeds!)
Qualifications: What does it take to do this job?
Expertise in HTML, CSS and Javascript
Object oriented programming skills with PHP, Ruby, or an equivalent language like Python
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite
Out-of-this-world project management skills
Stellar communication skills across a wide spectrum of personalities
A strong work ethic (?9 to 5? is just a Dolly Parton song to you)
Experience with Ruby on Rails or SQL is a plus
