EverBank is looking for a talented Front-End Developer with superb development skills. You must know the web inside and out and have a deep appreciation for simple, clean, usable interfaces. Additionally, you must have great attention to detail and have the ability to successfully and strategically collaborate with designers, project managers, and developers to create innovative, user-friendly websites and applications. The ideal candidate should have expertise with the technical and UX aspects of crafting state of the art desktop, tablet and mobile experiences. And, you must possess a solid understanding of progressive enhancement, future friendly web principles, great technical knowledge, and a proven expertise for developing with web best practices that go beyond the desktop. Plus, as a Front-End Developer, you?ll be encouraged and expected to stay on top of the latest technology, web and mobile trends.
? Develop and maintain award-winning websites and applications in a fast-paced and highly collaborative environment
? Ability to communicate with internal and external partners, strong problem solving skills, adaptable, proactive and willing to take ownership
? Ensure projects are within budget, timelines and project requirements
? Must have strong initiative and work ethic to manage competing priorities, and meet critical project deadlines
? Deep understanding of web best practices and a passion to stay on top of the latest web/mobile technologies
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirements)
? Extensive experience writing elegant, maintainable, and well-organized HTML5, CSS3 and XML
? A strong ability to optimize code from pre-production to production for outstanding site performance
? Strong rapid prototyping skills with the ability to shift directions to support business needs
? Proficient with CSS preprocessors (LESS, SASS), SVG and Canvas
? Ability to develop mobile apps (iOS, Android)
? Knowledge of the technical aspects of analytics tools and tagging methods (Coremetrics, Omniture, Mediaplex)
? Experience with .NET, web services, APIs and MVC-style development
? Understanding of OOP concepts, AJAX, JSON and DOM manipulation
? Extremely acute attention to detail
? Understanding of microdata/microformats (schema.org)
? Familiarity with social media apps and web design principles
Training and Experience
? 3-5 years experience coding to W3C standards or equivalent degree in Web Design & Development
? Comfortable with version control systems like TFS and content management systems (Wordpress, Drupal, Sitecore)
? Experience with responsive web design, progressive enhancement and media queries
? Experience with real time browser communication (Node.js, WebSockets, Socket.io)
? Experience using web frameworks/libraries (HTML5BolierPlate, Bootstrap for Twitter, PhoneGap and jQuery Mobile)
